Viva Las Vegas

So last weekend we were able to attend a family get away weekend in Las Veags. We had a blast. We got to stay in some really nice condos thanks to my wonder ful parents. We had the whole clan there so things were a little hectic with all the little kids running around. But we were able to take them to the M&M factory, the chocolate factory, and to see the lions at the MGM. We were lucky enough to be staning in the exact spot were one of the lions decided to urinate. The kids gota good laugh from that one. Jonah and I also got to go to the Cheesecake Factory with my brother and sister in law and their two little girls. We had a lot of fun with that. We never get to really talk to them much so it was nice to have a little time with just us. After that we met the rest of the family at the Rio to watch the parade in the sky. My mom was so excited about it. But we were all in fora surprise. It was not the same show that it was five years ago. We got front row seats to watch half naked men and women rub on each other. Finally we had enough and we took off. We all got a good laugh from it though....So all in all we had a really good weekend. The weather was great. We got to go swimming at our resort while we were down there. Ther is no way that we would go swimming here in Orem right now so it was really nice to get away and spend some time with the family. I miss them more than they know sometimes. These are some pictures from the trip. My dad was really camera happy cause we brought Jonah's camera and let my dad use it. He loves that camera so he was snapping away the entire trip.

Copy Cat

So I to, as many others lately, have decided that I am going to set my blog to private. I have read some reasoning by others and I am convinced that it is the best thing to do. So if you want to still be able to see my blog, please leave me your email address in a comment and I will be sure to invite you. Thanks!

My Husband

So if you can't tell, I want to say a few things about my husband. I love this man so much. I could not ask for anyone better. He treats me like I am the most precious thing in the world. He is such a big help to me around the house. He is understanding of me and my feelings. I always get these cute text messages during the day from him that always put a smile on my face no matter what my mood is. He is trying so hard to provide for our little family and he is doing a great job. I could not ask for more from him. I am so lucky to have him. He takes such good care of me and always puts me before himself. I can not believe that we have been married for three months already. Thanks to his understanding and willingness to compromise, we have had a pretty smooth transition from dating to marriage. I love how he is so forgiving and caring. He is always wanting to find new ways to help people. I feel so privileged to call him mine for eternity. There is no one else I would want to share this with. I can't wait to see where life takes us. But as long as I am with him I know that I everything will be ok and that I am where I am supposed to be. There is so much more that I want to say, but I can't put it into words. He is just to wonderful. I love you very much Jonah. Thank you for being such a wonderful husband.

Camping

So we were able to go camping this weekend. We had a rough start. The place that we had picked out only a week before hand was covered in snow when we went up there and the road was blocked. so we spent the next hour trying to find another spot. Once we did it was around nine. We set up our tents and built a fire. We had six people there. Me, Jonah, Jared, Olivia, Justin and Chelsey. The first night, Jared, Olivia, Jonah and I sat by the fire for a few hours before we went to bed. Justin and Chelsey went straight to bed. The next morning we woke to find out that Justin and Chelsey were leaving. They said that it was to cold for them the night before and they ended up sleeping in the car. Apparently they did not listen to us when we said that it was going to be very very cold at night. So that left just the four of us! I didn't complain at all. Sut anyways....the first half of the first night I was so cold. I ended up waking Jonah up cause I was shivering so bad. He made me switch sleeping bags with him. He also had Reign, (our dog) come sleep in the middle of us. That helped out a lot. I slept fine after that. we had four sleeping bags and a blanket on top of us. The next day we all spent the majority of the day gathering fire wood, playing card games and sitting around the fire. We had a blast just relaxing. It was so nice to get away for a while. We got to know Jared and Olivia a lot better and so that made it that much better. We all made smores before we wnt to bed that night. The second night i slept a lot warmer. Jared and Olivia gave us some hand warmers and so I stuck those in my sleeping bag. That kept me toasty warm all night long.. I can't wait til we can go on another trip with them. They are very good friends of ours. I am so grateful to have them as a part of our lives. They are so gracious and selfless. They are amazing people and if you dont know them....your missing out. Lol.

Jazz Game and Fun With Friends

Once again I dont have any pictures for you yet but once we can get them off the computer I will post them. Jonah and I were able to go to the Cornbelly Cornmaze at Thanksgiving Point with our friends Jared and Olivia. We had a blast! They not only have the cornmaze but they have alot of other really cool and fun activities for everyone to do. We went through this haunted monster. It was a huge balloon that was blown up and you walk through it. They had a sound system in there that made it seem like you could hear the monster breathing. It freaked me out so bad....Plus it was dark and I couldn't find my way back out so that made things even more scary. Jonah got a kick out of me screaming so much...He was laughing at me and telling me to go through again. YA RIGHT!
A couple days later, Jonah and I got to go to the Utah Jazz game in Salt Lake. That was so much fun. As some of you may know, Jonah is not very big into sports but he had a lot of fun to. We were on the 11th row from the court, behind the basket. they were great seats. There was so much entertainment at the game. I have only been to a BYU basketball game. I have never been to an NBA one. I have been to an NFL game and those are really fun too. But Jonah said that the games are a lot more interesting in person than they are on tv. IT kept his attention. Plus we got these fun noise makers to play with during the game. He had a lot of fun with them. I felt bad. I hit the girl in front of me in the head twice with them so I finally put them down for her sake.

Im Just Going To Do It

So I have been waiting to do another post so that I could put some pictures with it....But Jonah and I have been so busy lately we have not had the chance to get over to his parents to get the pictures off the computer. So I will post the pictures later that go with this post... So a few weeks ago we went down to St George for our family Halloween party and to see Thriller. We had a lot of fun. On Saturday night we were invited to dinner at Shawn and Ashley's house. We had a blast over there. Ashley is the funniest girl...She was making us laugh with her.....cleverness. :) Shawn was a hoot as always. We are very grateful to have them as our good friends.
I also got to spend a lot of time with my mom cooking. I called her a few days before we went down there. I was having a mental break down. I was very frustrated with cooking. Nothing I tried was turning out and so I was just wasting food. I called her crying. She said that she would show me some easy receipes that I could try. So that is what we did. We spent the weekend cooking and spending some quality mother daughter time together. It was a lot of fun.
We had a lot of fun at our family party. The kids we so cute in their costumes. We made some cute things to eat like spiders, frog eye salad, sloppy joes and a witches brew. It was a lot of fun. I always enjoy being able to participate in family events.
On Monday we went to Thriller! That was so good. I think that we are going to try and start a tradition to go see it every year as long as they do it.
I was not happy when we had to leave. That is always the hardest part for me is saying bye to my family. But I am glad that we were able to go down and spend time with them. Like I said I will do another post with pictures.
