New Hair Cut

So I got my hair cut. Just thought I would give you guys a peek and see what you think.

So we are supposed to head down to St George today. We might have to wait til tomorrow morning. The weather may not agree with us to go down tonight. But it should be a good weekend. I get to meet my new nephew and go to my mom's Christmas party and spend time with my family. There is nothing more that I could ask for

I can't remember the length, but I cant wait to see him this weekend! I know he is just adorable!! My sister in law is doing just fine as far as I heard. She should be getting released from the hospital today. So I just wanted to share our joy with you. I am an aunt again and Jonah is an uncle. We are very excited to meet him. Next we are waiting for another little boy from my sister....But that is not for a few more months.

Temple Square!

So we went to Temple Square with Jared and Olivia and had a lot of fun. It took us forever to find a spot to park but we had a lot of fun. This is us sitting in front of the reflection pool.

This is my cute cold hubby!

And me getting ready to go!

Light at the End of the Tunnel

So we found out today that the offer that we put in was accepted for the condo! We are so excited! Now we just have to do all the horrible paper work and stuff. I am not looking forward to that but you gotta do what ya gotta do. I am so excited that we are able to take this step in our lives! Other than that nothing to exciting has been going on. I will keep you posted on the condo status!!! YAY FOR US!!!!! :)

Pray For Good Luck

So we found something that we like! Just pray that everything goes well and it works out. But if everything goes according to plan we will close on this no later than January 1st. What we are trying to get is a condo in Springville. It is 1350 sq ft, 3 bedrooms, 2 bathroom, and a top unit. It has has vaulted ceilings, a balcony with a storage shed, the kitchen has stainless steel appliances, granite counter tops and tile floors. It is a very nice condo and we fell in love with it the second we walked in. So pray that everything works out for us!!!

Hunting?

So Jonah and I, believe it or not, have been going house hunting. Yup house hunting. We want to get into something of our own and take advantage of the great market for buyers. Well yesterday we went to look at a house and we both fell in love with it! It is a newer home and it was gorgeous. It had a nice big corner lot and a nice looking yard. Anyways, The only problem with this house??? Its in Eagle Mountain. Now if I was not working and I could stay home all day and not have to worry about the drive to work and having to be there on time, I am sure that we would go through with it. But we prayed and thought about it and felt that we are not supposed to get that house. Now with it being that nice of a house you may be wondering how we could afford it. Two words for you.....Short Sale. The price for that home w as literally cut in half. So that is how we would have been able to get into something like that. But we are going to keep looking and hopefully we will be able to find something that we both like. We will keep you updated.

Thanksgiving Trip

So Jonah and I had a really good Thanksgiving I think. We had quite the crowd at my parents house. We had all my siblings, their spouses and kids, my grandparents and my aunt and uncle and cousins. But I wouldn't want to have it any other way. Thanksgiving is about being thankful and I am so grateful for the wonderful immediate and extended family that I have. Not a whole lot of people can say that they like their extended family. But I do. All my cousins, aunts, uncles you name it. I am blessed to be part of a family that is so close and nice to each other.I love it. So anyways. Jonah and I drove down to St George on Wednesday night. Poor Jonah had to drive back to Orem on Thursday night after we had dinner. He had to go to training the next day. But he came back down on Friday. Poor guy, he spent most of the time driving. But he was not complaining. He did what he had to do. I am so grateful that he did that. We also got to bring Reign down with us this time. He stayed at my sisters place. They LOVED him. My sister and Jason were amazed at how good a dog he really is. And the kids loved him. Jeremiah was so cute with him. He would chase him around and pet him. He would lay on him with his bottle in his mouth and if Reign would move, Jeremiah would get up and go lay on him again. It was so cute. Alijah was a little scared of him at first. But he warmed up pretty quick. He liked to hit the dog.....I have no idea why. And Kayleeya loved him to of course....All the kids had a lot of fun chasing Reign around the yard. So then Sunday came and we had to leave. I always hate that part. But on the way home I saw the neatest sign that someone had on their fence. It said, " Wise men still seek him. " I thought that was really neat. I had never thought of it hat way before. Sorry we don't have pictures, but my dad has them all. But we all had a really good time. Now on to Christmas!!! And my 22nd birthday!!

Viva Las Vegas

So last weekend we were able to attend a family get away weekend in Las Veags. We had a blast. We got to stay in some really nice condos thanks to my wonder ful parents. We had the whole clan there so things were a little hectic with all the little kids running around. But we were able to take them to the M&M factory, the chocolate factory, and to see the lions at the MGM. We were lucky enough to be staning in the exact spot were one of the lions decided to urinate. The kids gota good laugh from that one. Jonah and I also got to go to the Cheesecake Factory with my brother and sister in law and their two little girls. We had a lot of fun with that. We never get to really talk to them much so it was nice to have a little time with just us. After that we met the rest of the family at the Rio to watch the parade in the sky. My mom was so excited about it. But we were all in fora surprise. It was not the same show that it was five years ago. We got front row seats to watch half naked men and women rub on each other. Finally we had enough and we took off. We all got a good laugh from it though....So all in all we had a really good weekend. The weather was great. We got to go swimming at our resort while we were down there. Ther is no way that we would go swimming here in Orem right now so it was really nice to get away and spend some time with the family. I miss them more than they know sometimes. These are some pictures from the trip. My dad was really camera happy cause we brought Jonah's camera and let my dad use it. He loves that camera so he was snapping away the entire trip.

So I to, as many others lately, have decided that I am going to set my blog to private. I have read some reasoning by others and I am convinced that it is the best thing to do. So if you want to still be able to see my blog, please leave me your email address in a comment and I will be sure to invite you. Thanks!

My Husband

So if you can't tell, I want to say a few things about my husband. I love this man so much. I could not ask for anyone better. He treats me like I am the most precious thing in the world. He is such a big help to me around the house. He is understanding of me and my feelings. I always get these cute text messages during the day from him that always put a smile on my face no matter what my mood is. He is trying so hard to provide for our little family and he is doing a great job. I could not ask for more from him. I am so lucky to have him. He takes such good care of me and always puts me before himself. I can not believe that we have been married for three months already. Thanks to his understanding and willingness to compromise, we have had a pretty smooth transition from dating to marriage. I love how he is so forgiving and caring. He is always wanting to find new ways to help people. I feel so privileged to call him mine for eternity. There is no one else I would want to share this with. I can't wait to see where life takes us. But as long as I am with him I know that I everything will be ok and that I am where I am supposed to be. There is so much more that I want to say, but I can't put it into words. He is just to wonderful. I love you very much Jonah. Thank you for being such a wonderful husband.

Camping

So we were able to go camping this weekend. We had a rough start. The place that we had picked out only a week before hand was covered in snow when we went up there and the road was blocked. so we spent the next hour trying to find another spot. Once we did it was around nine. We set up our tents and built a fire. We had six people there. Me, Jonah, Jared, Olivia, Justin and Chelsey. The first night, Jared, Olivia, Jonah and I sat by the fire for a few hours before we went to bed. Justin and Chelsey went straight to bed. The next morning we woke to find out that Justin and Chelsey were leaving. They said that it was to cold for them the night before and they ended up sleeping in the car. Apparently they did not listen to us when we said that it was going to be very very cold at night. So that left just the four of us! I didn't complain at all. Sut anyways....the first half of the first night I was so cold. I ended up waking Jonah up cause I was shivering so bad. He made me switch sleeping bags with him. He also had Reign, (our dog) come sleep in the middle of us. That helped out a lot. I slept fine after that. we had four sleeping bags and a blanket on top of us. The next day we all spent the majority of the day gathering fire wood, playing card games and sitting around the fire. We had a blast just relaxing. It was so nice to get away for a while. We got to know Jared and Olivia a lot better and so that made it that much better. We all made smores before we wnt to bed that night. The second night i slept a lot warmer. Jared and Olivia gave us some hand warmers and so I stuck those in my sleeping bag. That kept me toasty warm all night long.. I can't wait til we can go on another trip with them. They are very good friends of ours. I am so grateful to have them as a part of our lives. They are so gracious and selfless. They are amazing people and if you dont know them....your missing out. Lol.

Jazz Game and Fun With Friends

Once again I dont have any pictures for you yet but once we can get them off the computer I will post them. Jonah and I were able to go to the Cornbelly Cornmaze at Thanksgiving Point with our friends Jared and Olivia. We had a blast! They not only have the cornmaze but they have alot of other really cool and fun activities for everyone to do. We went through this haunted monster. It was a huge balloon that was blown up and you walk through it. They had a sound system in there that made it seem like you could hear the monster breathing. It freaked me out so bad....Plus it was dark and I couldn't find my way back out so that made things even more scary. Jonah got a kick out of me screaming so much...He was laughing at me and telling me to go through again. YA RIGHT!
A couple days later, Jonah and I got to go to the Utah Jazz game in Salt Lake. That was so much fun. As some of you may know, Jonah is not very big into sports but he had a lot of fun to. We were on the 11th row from the court, behind the basket. they were great seats. There was so much entertainment at the game. I have only been to a BYU basketball game. I have never been to an NBA one. I have been to an NFL game and those are really fun too. But Jonah said that the games are a lot more interesting in person than they are on tv. IT kept his attention. Plus we got these fun noise makers to play with during the game. He had a lot of fun with them. I felt bad. I hit the girl in front of me in the head twice with them so I finally put them down for her sake.

Im Just Going To Do It

So I have been waiting to do another post so that I could put some pictures with it....But Jonah and I have been so busy lately we have not had the chance to get over to his parents to get the pictures off the computer. So I will post the pictures later that go with this post... So a few weeks ago we went down to St George for our family Halloween party and to see Thriller. We had a lot of fun. On Saturday night we were invited to dinner at Shawn and Ashley's house. We had a blast over there. Ashley is the funniest girl...She was making us laugh with her.....cleverness. :) Shawn was a hoot as always. We are very grateful to have them as our good friends.
I also got to spend a lot of time with my mom cooking. I called her a few days before we went down there. I was having a mental break down. I was very frustrated with cooking. Nothing I tried was turning out and so I was just wasting food. I called her crying. She said that she would show me some easy receipes that I could try. So that is what we did. We spent the weekend cooking and spending some quality mother daughter time together. It was a lot of fun.
We had a lot of fun at our family party. The kids we so cute in their costumes. We made some cute things to eat like spiders, frog eye salad, sloppy joes and a witches brew. It was a lot of fun. I always enjoy being able to participate in family events.
On Monday we went to Thriller! That was so good. I think that we are going to try and start a tradition to go see it every year as long as they do it.
I was not happy when we had to leave. That is always the hardest part for me is saying bye to my family. But I am glad that we were able to go down and spend time with them. Like I said I will do another post with pictures.

A whole lot of nothing and an aching heart...

So not much has been going on with us lately. I have been sick with something but we don't know what it is. But no worries I will get over it sooner or later. Jonah was sweet enough to buy me a wedding band to go with my engagement ring. He is so sweet. I get it tomorrow. The rings are getting welded together. I will put a picture up when I can. It is going to be so beautiful. We have been having a lot of fun with our friends Olivia and Jared. They are really cool people. They were over by our apartment the other day and decided to stop by with brownies and a movie! We had a lot of fun that night. They are going on the camping trip with us and I am so excited. I love listening to Olivia's stories. She is the cutest girl I have met....just don't make her mad or she will " punch yo face" Lol Sorry that is part of one of her stories. Very funny. So like the title says, a whole lot of nothing....ya sorry we are so boring. We don't really do much when I am not feeling good. But we are going down to St George tomorrow and I will have something to post when we get back. I am so happy to be going down there. I miss my family so much. I have been getting so home sick. And I have been having nightmares about my dad so I just really want to get down there and be with my family.... You never know what you have until its gone. I know that my family is not gone, but they are not at the tip pf my fingers anymore. They are four hours away and that makes things really hard for me. I feel like I miss out on so much and I wish so badly that I could be there. But I want them to know that I love them and that I always miss them. My brother and his wife. My sisters. My nieces and nephews. My grand parents and my mom and dad.... I wish that I could be in two places at once. But you got to do what you got to do. I am so glad to have my husband with me though. I have some part of my family with me and that helps ease the home sickness a little. So I hope that this trip will help me get through the next while until I can see my family again.

Our Big Break

So we have good news! Jonah got the job with Comcast!! We are so excited! They were rated the #1 employer in the nation last year.We are so excited that he got the job. He had to go through a four hour interview process, and he wowed them enough to get the job. He will be and installer for them. The benefits are unbelievable. He will get his own company truck, full medical, dental, and vision, 401K, tuition reimbursement, 28 paid vacation days a year, paid sick leave, paid holidays, discounts on Macintosh and Dell products, free cable and internet, and a TVO for only five bucks a month! There are so many more! I can't remember them all but I was shocked when I heard all of them. He starts November 3rd and has to do 3 months of training. After that he will get a dollar raise and get going on his own. There is so much room for advancement with this company to. So he is going to be sticking with this job for a while. It is to good not to keep. And if he wants to he will be able to move up and into different positions that pay more. But what he will be getting paid now is more than enough for the two of us. So we are hoping to save as much money as we can so that we will be able to buy a home or a condo in the next few years. Also with the tuition reimbursement, Jonah will be starting school in the fall. I am planning aon starting with him so that we can do it together. So we are excited that this wonderful opportunity presented itself to us. We are so blessed and we are so grateful that the Lord is watching over us. He has truly been listening to our prayers and finally answered them. We have learned so much from this alone. Paying your tithing, attending the temple and church and praying to your Father in Heaven can only bring you more joy and more blessings. We are so happy with the way things are going for us right now.

Busy Bee's

Well Jonah and I have been keeping ourselves busy, and its only going to get crazier. We will be heading down to St. George on the 24th to visit family and friends, and to see Thriller. We are very excited. Especially me. I have been getting very home sick so I will be really glad to see my family and friends. Then on the 7th of November, we are going camping!! Yes I know it is going to be cold, but we have a big group that is all going together and it is going to be so much fun. I really can't wait. Then the following weekend, we will be going to Vegas for a family trip! I am really excited. I just found out that we will be able to go! YAY!! Anyways, then we will be going to St George for Thanksgiving to spend it with my family. So we don't have many free weekends left for the rest of the year. Lol. So I just thought that I would keep you updated on what we have going on. If you want to reserve us for a weekend please let me know. Lol.

A day at the Park and a whining dog

We had a very fun time at the park for FHE. We took the camera and had at it. Lol. These are the most up to date photos of the newly wed family....

In other news. Reign has been getting on our last nerve. He has been whining all night long for the past few nights. Yesterday, Jonah and I came home from his parents house, and Reign was in the living room. We were shocked because we put him in his cage before we left. So we thought we would test it out again. We went for a short walk. Before we left we put him in his cage. When we came back he was standing in the kitchen. Somehow he got out of his cage. We think that he paws at the latch and then crawls through. Anyways, so last night we had had it up to our ears with his whining. So we let him out of his cage and let him sleep in the kitchen. We did not want to loose more sleep over a whining dog. As far as we can tell he did ok. He was still in the kitchen when I got up this morning. And he stopped whining so it worked out pretty good for us. So we will try it again and see how he does. Everything else is all and well with the newly weds!

Finally Got Some Pictures

K sorry it took so long. But here are some pictures of our home. Our place is not the cleanest for two reasons....I have been sick for the past few days and so I have not been up to the challenge of keeping up on the cleaning, and also we are still not done moving everything in. So just deal with it...No one is perfect. lol. Also I took these with my phone and my camera sucks on my phone so sorry.

This is our junk room.... and where Reign sleeps.lol

Moving In

So we are in the process of moving into our apartment. We have most everything over there. We just have to get it organized and get it looking cute :) I would say that it looks pretty good for our first place. The kitchen doesn't have enough storage space for all our food and wedding presents. :) But its ok. We are putting some stuff in the guest bedroom closet. Our apartment is two bedroom one bathroom. Our bedroom is so much bigger than the room we have been in for the past little while. It is so nice to be able to walk around our bed now! And its nice to that we are starting to get things in order. Jonah doesn't like the way that I do some things though. For example, in my opinion, if clothes are on the floor or in the hamper they are dirty. Not according to him. He has two different hampers that he wants to use. He says that one hamper is for dirty clothes and the other one is for clean clothes. He also said that anything on the floor is still clean. THEN WHAT IS THE POINT OF A CLOSET AND A DRESSER!!! I told him that if it is on the floor when i do laundry, its going to be washed and if it is in a hamper it is the same deal. If he doesn't want it washed, he needs to hang it up or put it in the dresser....Anyways, thanks for letting me vent for a second.

We also got to bring the pup with us to the apartment. We are trying to train him in a new place. He does ok for the most part. We are trying to get him to stay on the kitchen tile and not come on to the carpet unless its to go outside or to his cage to go to bed. He does ok. He is just really excited to be in a new place so he has a lot of distractions. We put him in his cage at night for now so that he doesn't wander around the house when we are sleeping. We have to make sure that he will behave before we will let him sleep in the kitchen. But over all he is doing pretty good. I will post some pictures of our new place when we get it all set up.

We are still trying to get moved down to St. George. Hopefully before the end of the year. So we won't be in this apartment for very long, but it is so nice to be out of his parents house. I am so excited! Well. I will post pictures soon!

Finally!!!

We are finally going to be moving into an apartment this weekend!!! I am so excited! We have been waiting for some renters to get out of his dad's apartment so that we could move in. They were supposed to be out three weeks ago, but they were being difficult. And plus i don't think that they understood that he was being serious about them having to move. But anyways, The water heater in that apartment broke, and so they will be putting new carpet in on Wednesday and after that it will be all ready. I am so excited to be able to get all my stuff out of boxes. And I am really excited to finally be able to use our wedding presents! They have been sitting in a room upstairs cause we have no where else to put them. So that is something that is really exciting for us. We are so ready to be out on our own. And the cool thing is, is renting with his dad will allow us to be able to move out whenever we want to. We are not on a contract and so when we find a place in St. George that we can afford we can move down there.

Also this weekend was especially fun. My very good friend Bryce came to visit us this weekend. He was not able to make it to the wedding and so he came up to treat us to a weekend of fun...And that is exactly what we got. First we went ice skating. Man that was so entertaining to watch Jonah and Bryce ice skate. They were hugging the wall so tight. I am not all that great, but I am proud to say that I was better than them.Lol. Jonah ended up getting the hang of it after a while. But he did not want me anywhere near him. After we were done with that, we went and showed Bryce out wedding pictures so he could see what he missed out on. After that we went to pick up Heather. She is a girl that Jonah works with. We all headed out to eat at Winger's. That was a lot of fun. We were all laughing and having a good time. We then headed up to Murray to get some cheesecake from the Cheesecake Factory!!! That was so good!! I love going to that place. Then after that we went to the IMAX theatre in Sandy. That place was really cool. We saw Burn After Reading... That was a very stupid movie...Bar none. So just save your money and go see something else! So it was a very good weekend...We all had a lot of fun.

Poor Pup

So the other day, I get a call from my husband telling me that the dog has been hurt. Jonah went put Reign in the backyard while he ran to wal mart to get some shoes for work, and when he came back, he brought Reign inside and he had blood on his chest! I was so worried. Here are some pictures of what happened. We ended up having to take him to the vet to get stitches

This is our sweet dog. Reign

This is what his wound looked like when we took him to the vet

And this is what he looked like when he was done at the vet.

As far as we can figure, he got caught on something while he was running around. We have no idea what it would have been. But we have him all bandaged up to try and keep him form licking or scratching it. He is doing pretty well. Its a good thing that he is a good dog in the first place.

Best show EVER!!!

So since I have not been able to think of anything interesting to put up here lately, I thought I might let you guys know about my all time favorite show that had its season six premiere on Monday. One Tree Hill baby! Man that is the greatest show on the face of this planet. I was so happy with the way it opened up for the most part. First of all, the season finale last season left us all wondering who Lucas called from the airport to go to Vegas and get married. And it turned out to be just the way that I wanted it to! Out of three girls, Brooke Lindsey and Peyton....he chose Peyton!! I was so excited. I just hope that they don't do the breaking up and getting back together with them. I think they have done that about a hundred times! Lol. The whole Brooke and Victoria thing has me a little worried and I hope that Brooke will be ok. I really hate Victoria. If she is the one that had that guy come into her store and beat her up I will be so mad. It has to be her that did it. I mean everything was fine before she came back threatening to take the company and wanting to get a hold of the new clothes line. And she is the kind of person that would stoop that low to get what she wants. The other thing that happened is that Nanny Carrie came back!! Talk about creepy! I really don't like her. She is crazy obsessed with Jamie. (who is the cutest little boy ever) She hit Dan with a car and is keeping him hostage. I hope that someone finds him and gets rid of her. Not even Dan Scott deserves to die that way. Over all it was a great opening to another great season! I just hate having to wait a whole week to see what is next. But oh well. I guess there is nothing that I can do about it. By the way...if you guys don't know anything about the show that I am talking about...shame on you! Lol. Go by seasons 1-5 and get caught up and watch the best show ever!!!

August 9th 2008

So as you may know, Jonah and I were married on August 9th, 2008 in the St, George Temple. We had an amazing day. The temple was magical and we were lucky enough to have a lot of loved ones there to share it with us. After we were done with the temple, we had a luncheon at the church followed by a reception. Everything was perfect. A lot of people helped out a lot to help make our day special. So thank you to all who contributed so much for us. We love you and we are very grateful for you. These are a few pictures for you to enjoy form our special day.

♥Married Life&hearts

So this is our first post since we have been married. So far we are loving it....well most of it :) It is hard to get used to someone in my bed after so many years of sleeping by myself. Last night, Jonah woke me up in the middle of the night by elbowing me in the eye. I was not to happy about that at all. But luckily I was able to get back to sleep. I have to admit that he made up for it by just laying there and holding me. There is no better feeling than know that when I wake up in the morning he will be there. No more texting a good morning to each other, no more having to say good bye at night. I love being able to fall asleep in his arms...And he doesn't have any complaints about married life either :)
When we got back from our honeymoon, it was back to the real world. We started to go through all of our gifts and figure out what we got doubles of and need to take back. We have yet to take things back and exchange them. We are both to lazy.lol. We did go to the DI the other day, and we were able to buy a kitchen table and a coffee table. We were very excited. So we should have almost everything when we move into our apartment in two weeks. We are very excited to get into our own place and start our own lives with our rules and our way of doing things. As for me, I am super excited to decorate our apartment!!! That is going to be so much fun for me. Jonah doesn't care much for that so he is leaving all the fun to me.Lol. But so far married life is good. Once we get the wedding pictures ready I will post a blog with some of those.

A Lot To Take In

So I thought you all might want to know what a busy and exciting day we had on Sunday. First off, Jonah was ordained an elder on Sunday by his dad. That was a really neat experience and I am glad that I was able to be there to share it with him...I was also glad that I got to meet his good friend Mark. Mark was able to come join in the circle at his ordaining. Mark has been a big help to Jonah and has been there for him whenever he has had questions. From what I can tell, he is an extremely nice guy and I can't wait to get to know him better and thank him for the help that he has given to Jonah...
And as for me, I got my temple recommend on Sunday! It was very exciting. I had to wait an hour to do it though but it was worth it. Jonah should be getting his this weekend.

The wedding is only 9 days away! Wow! I have so many mixed feelings at this point. Im nervous, excited!, happy, and kind of scared all at the same time...There is a lot to take in on this day, but there is no one else that I want to walk through it with. Jonah is a great man and I can't wait to start my life with him together as a family.

I am excited how all the wedding plans are coming together. The wedding is going to be very nice and I am so grateful for my family and friends that have been helping me the most. Thanks to my mom for getting all the decorations and food, my sister TaMerra for all the showers she has thrown and all the advice she has given me. My sister in law, Alisa, for all her help with the invitations, music and helping out where ever she is needed. And Tracy for all her help with my bridals and making sure everything was perfect. I really appreciate all of you. And a big thanks to all my friends. They have been there to support me in all of this. It really means a lotto me to know that my friends are so happy for me

Bridals

So here are some pictures from by Bridal photo shoot with Josh Dye. These were taken at the capital building in Salt Lake and Memory Grove which is right across the street. I had a lot of fun with the pictures. It was really hot though. Not to mention that I forgot to eat that morning. So sad to say we stopped the shoot cause I was about to pass out.... But once I got some food and cold air blowing on me I was fine... Sorry that it has taken me so long to post something new. As you can imagine I have been keeping pretty busy... And I hope to get the Bear lake pictures posted soon as well. But let me know what you think of these. There are about a hundred more. Sorry I can't put them all on here.

Real Estate

So Jonah has been working very hard to get his real estate business going. He has not sold a house yet, but he is doing well for having just started. He has 3 listing leads, and two buyers. He is learning a lot of things that he will need to know in the future. It seems like an overload sometimes for him, but he is loving it. He is so happy that he decided to make the switch from Prudential to Keller Williams. He loves the people he works with. He says they are all very nice and are willing to help him with whatever he needs. He always comes home and tells me about what he did that day. I don't ever really know what he is talking about, but it makes me happy to see him and how excited he gets about it.
As for my work. I got a raise! It wasn't a big one, but at this point every little bit helps. With it being the end of the month, things get a little crazy at work, with the billing, inventory control, closing jobs, and all the other month end stuff. I could definitely use a weekend away. And that is exactly what I get! We are going to Bear Lake this weekend!! And on top of that I don't have to work on Friday, so that makes it that much better!
Once we get back things are going to start rolling along. We only have 37 days left til the wedding! I can't believe how fast time has gone by. I have two bridal showers this month and my bridal pictures to get out of the way. I am excited for it all though.

I'm getting smarter!!

I think that I finally figured out how to get pictures on here! So I thought I would share some of my favorites with you. These are old but they are cute. The first one was taken on the day of our engagement. We had a lot of fun playing in the snow with Reign. And the most recent picture was taken at the Mayan on his birthday

Bridal Shower #1

So I had my first bridal shower, out of three, on Saturday. I had a lot of fun and got a lot of useful stuff. Jonah was also excited about all out new toys :) He was doing an open house during most of my shower. He came home to a house full of women! I am surprised he didn't turn around and run the other way. Lol. I am excited for my next two. I am having one up at Bear Lake with my whole family, and one is St George where all my friends are . So I am excited to see what those will bring.

Happy Birthday Jonah!

So things have been going well for us. Jonah is working really hard at real estate. He is doing a lot better than we thought so that is good. I am still working at Centaur Print Partners. This is a relaxing week at work cause the boss is out of town for the week! YAY!! Anyway, we went down the St. George this past weekend and had a lot of fun. We got some stuff done for the wedding, like fabrics, flowers, and the wedding breakfast. Jonah's parents also came down and it was fun to show them a little bit of where I come from. It was so nice to be able to see my family and spend time with them.
Now to get to the subject of this blog. Today is Jonah's 21st birthday!! I am so excited. I am taking him out to eat at the Mayan Adventure in Sandy, and then there is going to be a surprise party at his house when we get back. This is the first birthday he has had since we started dating so this being the first one is really exciting.

New

Ok so I am new to this whole thing. But I figured I would give it a try. So as of February 24th, 2008 Jonah and I are engaged. We are getting married on August 9th, 2008 in the St. George temple. We are both very excited to be taking this step in our lives together. Jonah is a real estate agent and is trying to get going in that. I am just working and I will hopefully get back into school soon. I would like to go to school of counseling or psychology. We have been keeping busy with wedding planning and just having fun with our loved ones.
